Risks & Disclaimers

Participation in OK Family Fund DAO carries inherent risks. While the DAO follows a disciplined approach inspired by treasury management models used in traditional companies, it is important to understand the following:

No Guaranteed Returns

The $OKFUND token does not guarantee profits, dividends, or financial returns. Its value is influenced by both the DAO’s treasury performance and open market dynamics (tNAV vs. mNAV). Token holders should not view participation as a “get rich quick” scheme.

Market Risks

The DAO treasury holds digital assets such as BTC, SOL, and other financial instruments. These assets are subject to volatility, liquidity risks, and broader market conditions. Prices can fluctuate significantly, and in extreme cases, holdings may lose substantial value.

Governance Risks

As a decentralized organization, decision-making is based on community governance. While Realms provides transparency and security, risks remain, including:

  • Low voter participation

  • Concentration of voting power among large holders

  • Proposals that may not align with every participant’s interests

Regulatory Risks

Cryptocurrencies and DAOs exist within an evolving regulatory environment. Legal or policy changes in different jurisdictions may impact the DAO’s operations, access to markets, or classification of tokens.

Responsibility of Participants

By holding $OKFUND, participants acknowledge these risks and accept that outcomes depend on market conditions, DAO decisions, and broader external factors. No individual or entity within OK Family Fund DAO guarantees financial success or protects against losses.
