Treasury
Treasury Mechanism
The OK Family Fund DAO Treasury is structured to operate much like a traditional corporate treasury but in a decentralized, on-chain format. The $OKFUND token functions as the DAO’s primary financial vehicle. When the DAO issues or releases additional tokens into liquidity pools, the proceeds are used to purchase assets for the treasury.
Asset Purchases
Treasury purchases are financed directly through these token releases. As more tokens enter circulation, the DAO raises capital which is deployed into acquiring long-term holdings such as Bitcoin, Solana, stocks, and ETFs. This creates a dual dynamic:
The treasury accumulates and grows its asset base over time.
$OKFUND tokens in circulation represent a form of digital equity, backed by the treasury and DAO-owned projects.
tNAV vs mNAV
A key part of this structure is the relationship between tNAV (Treasury Value per Token) and mNAV (Market NAV):
tNAV is the book value of the DAO’s treasury divided by the circulating token supply. It represents the “backing per token” on paper.
mNAV is the actual market price of $OKFUND as traded in liquidity pools.
The two are related but not directly tied in real time. If the token price falls, it does not reduce the value of the treasury; it only creates a discount to tNAV. Likewise, if the token price rises above tNAV, the market assigns a premium.
This separation is important: it ensures that the treasury’s long-term holdings remain intact regardless of short-term price movements. Over time, the DAO may use mechanisms such as buybacks, new issuance, or other financial instruments to manage the balance between tNAV and mNAV, creating opportunities for both stability and growth.
Long-Term Philosophy
The DAO’s guiding principle is buy and hold forever. Digital assets accumulated in the treasury are intended as long-term reserves rather than speculative short-term trades. This creates a resilient and enduring foundation, ensuring that $OKFUND remains a true representation of digital equity backed by verifiable assets and productive projects.
